Message	I think thats because normally that isn't the weak part of the rod. Most rods seem to twist/bend/snap more so than the fasteners giving way. Though you can get higher grade fasteners for any rod you choose, the Series 2000 bolt that comes in a lot of the common rods are quite good and are used extensively in engines making well over 2000HP.
